Limited Liability: The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but limits the seller's liability. This means that the seller is only responsible for defects directly attributable to manufacturing or workmanship errors and may not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Exclusions for Wear and Tear: The warranty excludes coverage for normal wear and tear on the jump starter components. This includes cosmetic damage, scratches, or minor dents that do not affect the functionality of the device.
Limited Duration for Battery: While the warranty does in fact cover the battery, It only covers the battery for the first 6 months or up to 100 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
Voiding Conditions: The warranty may include conditions that could void the warranty, such improper use of jump starter, attempting self-repair, or using unauthorized accessories or replacement parts. Any of these actions could void the warranty, leaving the buyer responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Return Shipping Costs: If the jump starter needs to be returned for repair or replacement under warranty, the buyer is responsible for covering the returning shipping costs.
Proof of Misuse: The seller reserves the right to request proof that the jump starter was used according to the manufacturer's guidelines. If it's determined that the device was subjected to misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance, the warranty claim may be denied.
Repair vs. Replacement Discretion: The seller retains the discretion to choose between repairing the defective unit or providing a replacement. This allows them to opt for the most cost-effective solution, which may not always be in favor of the buyer.
